6) Thoughts to share...
My daughter is pretty much amazing...so are both of my moms. Debate class is pretty much my favorite class. Salad is the best food invented in my opinion, besides sushi. I'm getting a haircut soon (bangs and layers). Body Shop lotion is amazing.
7) Q&A
Q. Why are teens thought less of than adults?
A. Teens are stereotyped. Through observation I have found that when an adult thinks "teenager" they picture a person who dresses like this...
Because of this they don't take teens, or young adults, seriously when they give opinions on issues in our government today, problems with America. Because of how we are stereotyped we, the youth of the world, are suppressed. We do not take the initiative, we do not stand up for what we believe in, we do not speak out, raise our voices and fight for the future, for ourselves.
I admit, there are hundreds, perhaps thousands, of teenagers who don't give a crap about what happens in the world. However, there are those of us, however few we may seem, who *do* care. There are those of us who have reasonable, logic, adult like thoughts and opinions, there are those of us who *are* mature enough to be considered adults.
The sad thing? The day where young adults are not stereotyped will never come. Teens will always be stereotyped. We will always be thought less of. What would set those of us who care apart is to never stop voicing our thoughts, never give up our opinions and ambitions purely because we "aren't mature enough."
They call us the "Silent Generation". Are we? Are we going to continue to be this great, never-breaking silence?
*cough* That's how I dress...
