2) Somebody who made me smile today...
My wifey. :) And Helen again, she made me smile so hard my face almost fell off.
3) Something to look forward to...
Eventually getting this hair of mine cut.
4) Near or far future plans...
Signing up for Bri's brother's class.
5) Something to appreciate more...
Warm blankets.
6) Thoughts to share...
Walking through hip high snow drifts in tennis shoes and sweatpants is freezing and exceptionally lame. Writing poetry can now be considered fun and easy. Cereal is amazing. Nothing sucks more than breaking your third ipod, preventing you from receiving hilarious texts from extended family. Clean, warm, fuzzy socks are some of the best things ever invented. Awkward college professors make me giggle. (Ain't that creepy) Being introduced to amazing music is pretty much awesome. Helen and Diego made me very happy these past couple days. Thank God for Facebook.
7) Q. Trinity: Why do you like your fake family so much?
A. For those of you that are wondering this same thing...well, lets start at the beginning.
A loooong time ago everybody was doing those status updates where they go down their friends list and tag people as their mother, their father, their spouse, you get the picture right? Well, this happened multiple times. The only thing that stayed the same in each one that I ever did was that Sabrina was my wife. :) Also, Helen seemed to always be my mom...
Anyways, there was one of these statuses (Helen's) that sparked this 250 comment long conversation. Because of this I gained an amazing family. Helen is my mom(if I say Mummy, then this will be Helen. Mom is my real mother), Diego is my dad, Bri is my wifey, Allister is my uncle, Aurora is my daughter (also if I refer to somebody as Cookie, just keep in mind that this will be Aurora.), Renaye is my grandmother, Levi is...well, Levi is many things. He's my uncle, my grandfather, my great-grandfather, and my son-in-law, but that's a story for another time. Payton's my father...well, now I think he should be considered my brother-in-law because Bri is his 'sister' and I'm married to her...
Don't try to understand any of that because even we can't. Just know that these people are my family too and I love them to pieces.
So, back to the question. Why do I love them? Well...I've had a bunch of friends in my life, tons of 'best friends'. Every friend that I have said is my absolute best couldn't top these people. These people are honest with me, for the most part, they're nice, they understand, they make me laugh like no other, they're humor is...different but amazing, and they really do love me.*whispers* I didn't realize that last bit, as I always thought I annoyed them, until just a few days ago, hence my happiness recently. Now let that sink in. Do you understand, now? These people make me happy. Happier than any other group of friends I've ever had. This...this is why I love them so much.
*deep breath* The end. Thanks for surviving through that complicated mess of family titles and the such.
