Day Thirty-One

Seems like there's always someone who disapproves. They'll judge it like they know about me and you, and the verdict comes from those with nothing else to do.

Something making me happy:
I got chocolate :D

Something I learned today:
My mom says Stargate Atlantis is just like a soap opera -_-

Something I need to be more thankful for:
Friends. Enough said.

My 11:11 wish:
That tomorrow will run smoothly.

Somewhere I want to be:
In the shower.

Something I would miss if the Earth were destroyed:
Chocolate.

Some thoughts:
 Stargate Atlantis is NOT a soap opera. Just FYI. And, chocolate is yummy. And the poem my wife posted on my wall made my day:

It’s funny when you finally meet,
That person no one else can beat.
One of the few who make your world go ‘round,
Who will make you laugh when you’re feeling down.

... That person who, no matter what,
Will make you laugh till you burst a gut,
Someone who accepts the way,
You laugh obnoxiously, day after day.

This gorgeous girl,
Her natural curls,
Her dark brown, beautiful eyes,
Makes me think, every day, “Holy dang, I’ve got a beautiful wife.

My favorite memories,
Are the ones with you, you see.
“I just remembered what this was for.”
“We’ll feed you looove, little kid, can you ask for more?”

*crickets chirping*, *old man coughing*,
These awkward moments are worth living,
Because, despite the uncomfortable “What do I say now” silence,
There’s laughing and “face breaking” smiling faces.

So, in conclusion, just let me say,
If you want a laugh to brighten your day,
Back off! She’s mine! You can’t have those things,
She’s MY wife, my source of brightened days.

I think maybe, possibly, you’ll find,
It’d be sad if I hadn’t gotten this into your mind,
I’m rather possessive of my wife, Mrs. Bennett,
She's my flippin' wife and that's the end of it.
